• Clean your bench with ethanol
• Locate your protocols for the day and read through them
• Make sure you have all the materials and equipment for the day’s experiments

Throughout the day

• Keep your lab notebook updated as you complete experiments
• Keep your bench clean
  • Put away samples and equipment when you are finished using them
  • Clean up any spills when they happen

At the end of the day

• Make sure your lab notebook has everything you did during the day
• Clear your lab bench and clean with ethanol and/or Virkon
